I call it LOVING on your team!
I hear from many leaders who ask.. “How do I motivate my team? Nobody is doing anything.”
First of all, you can’t motivate people, that has to come from within them. However you can INSPIRE them by recognizing their efforts and actions that help make them successful..
This is partnering and working together to help everyone achieve their goals. When the TEAM WINS EVERYONE WINS!
The one thing that helps you LOVE on your team is building strong relationships with team members.
- Get to know them.
- What are their struggles?
- How can you support them?
You don’t have to be a strong trainer. You don’t have to know all the answers. You just have to show them how much you CARE and support them in their endeavors by paying attention and offering encouragement.

#1 Love your Team by Acknowledging your TOP TEN. Creating your TOP TEN LIST and sharing it with your team encourages and create friendly competition amongst team members. Others ask the Top 10 for advice and this builds their confidence. Each month the TOP TEN LIST will change, and people will go in and out because they LOVE to be in this group.
A great way to acknowledge the TOP TEN LIST is creating a BANNER in your Team Facebook Group. This banner stays up all month so people are reminded who are the top 10on the tam. Also add this list to your TEAM NEWSLETTER, and most of all send a special note or message to EACH of the top 10 every month congratulating them so shtye know how much they are supported and appreciated in being in the TOP TEN ON THE TEAM.
#2 Love your Team by Recognizing $500 and $1000 Party Sales. Successful parties are the “engine” of your business. They drive the team to have high sales, future bookings and bring on new team members. When your team members are having these successful $500 and $1000 parties they “feel “ successful and your team volume is high because people are also hitting their sales goals for the month.
Reward your TEAM MEMBERS when they have these successful parties. You’ll find the team will focus more on hitting those numbers with follow up. They will also have more successful HOSTESSES when they hit these two benchmarks. And we all know many successful hostesses, finally decide to join the team.
This is a WINNING STRATEGY to grow your team on a fast pace. Your team love to receive this recognition and be recognized for it.
#3 Love you Team with Shout Outs on Social Media. This doesn’t cost you a dime. It only costs you time.
As you go through your week and you hear about your team’s successes whether they are little successes or big successes, a quick shout out in your Team Facebook Group, makes them feel energized in front of the whole team.
Shout outs are simply highlighting people’s actions and efforts along the way.
What you’re doing is LOVING on them in front of the whole team.
You might also want to recognize these shout outs on your business page, or Instagram. This attracts other to want to learn more about how you are a leader supporting and recognizing your team.
