Many of my coaching clients come to me because they are frustrated with team members who don’t feel confident in holding parties.

  • “My team is not booking parties!” Or,
  • “My team thinks nobody wants to book a party!” Or,
  • “My team feels like parties are no longer relevant.”

Whether it’s a party, a workshop, an event, the way to help your team grow and flourish in this Direct Sales business is create a booking success environment on your team.  When you hear team members say,

  • “I hate doing parties?”
  • “I don’t want to do parties any more?” Or,
  • “ It’s just too difficult to do online parties!”

Take a big deep breath, because the truth is there are very successful Direct Sellers who are rocking their calendars with parties, or workshops or events every week.  These Direct Sellers are holding parties and having high sales, making money and getting future bookings consistently every month.

How do I know this?   Because I have coaching clients who are having this success. And, they have team members who are also having this success. In fact, one of my clients is booked right through the end of December and she’s filling up her January calendar

Why do some people on your team struggle to book parties and others are consistently holding successful parties?

That’s where you step in as a leader.  It’s understanding how to leading your team to conquer that belief and teach them to believe the best way to grow a Direct Sales business is to hold parties.  After all, that’s why it’s called the Direct SalesParty Plan” Business.

The Party is your Business Model

Inside my Journey to Leadership coaching program, I teach leaders how to create a team booking system and in this blog post, I’m sharing six ways to help you generate excitement to help your team members get confident in holding  parties, so they can grow a successful business.

#1 Establish a Team Booking Calendar.  A team booking calendar is simply having a calendar for your team to post their booking dates.  This shows the whole team who else has bookings on the calendar.   This is team work, where those who feel they can’t get bookings are seeing the evidence that other people are having success in booking parties.   When you see others do something, you think, if they can do it, then so can I.

#2  Set a team booking goal.  A booking goal is simply counting up how many bookings each team member holds, and then set a team goal.  For example, if you have 10 people doing 4 bookings a month that’s a team goal of 40 bookings. And when you hit that team goal together, you celebrate and offer rewards!   I show you a formula how to set your Team booking goal every month.

#3  Highlighting  team members.   The team are so excited when you highlight them and share the success of their party.  This system is designed to show you how to reach out to team members and learn about their party results.  When you  highlight and recognize their success, they feel more confident.  This could be someone who has their highest party sales ever.  Perhaps another team member got 2 or more bookings.  Maybe a team member is so excited because her hostess wants to sign up. This form of recognition encourages others to hold parties.  It’s also showing other team members the success they also could have holding successful parties.

#4  Train your team on “how” to get bookings.  Some of my clients use guides in their Facebook group to add training tutorials.  Some train at their team meetings. It’s important to have ongoing training on ways to get bookings to keep their calendar full.  Believe me there are 100 ways to get bookings so keeping that training in front of them inspires them to book.

#5 Send a weekly email.  Communicating every Monday with an email – I call it the Weekly Team Booking News –  you’re able to add short booking tips to keep them motivated to keep their calendar booked up.   When you are consistent with your weekly email with tips and more recognition, the team knows they are supported by an organized and caring leader. Again, you have role models  on the team who are holding successful parties.

#6 Hold a monthly Team Booking Blitz.  To create a booking success environment on your team you want to hold monthly team booking blitzes.  What is a booking blitz?  It’s gathering the team together where you share with them who to contact to get a booking, how to contact them and what to say to get their calendar full for the next month.  I suggest you hold your Team Booking Blitz on the third week of every month.

This is a short overview of my team booking system that you find inside the Journey to Leadership group coaching program.   It’s a simple system.  I also set daily tasks for you to follow so your know helping your team know that bookings are a priority in your Direct Sales business is imperative if you want success.

The team booking system encourages your team to be successful at holding parties and having consistent bookings because you are setting up a success environment.
