This week in our Group coaching call, everyone shared an answer to a question I posed to the whole group.
“If you look back at your year, what would you have done differently?”
This question gave everyone a chance to reflect on their business for the whole year and share valuable learning lessons from their heart. What was the most amazing was each person added their difficulty in time management and organization. Things like…
- I have stuff everywhere. I wish I could organize my business in one area.
- I want to find a way to be more intentional in tracking my bookings on my calendar.
- I had moments of quitting because my time management skills are horrible. I want to learn how to lead by example and be a top recruiter, and manage my team and my own personal business.
I find time management and organization are the two challenging areas for all entrepreneurs no matter what business you’re in. It’s an oxymoron because we LOVE managing our own time as a entrepreneur, but at the same time we HATE managing our own time as we think we never get it done! Are you nodding your head and saying, I’m right?
That’s the very reason I developed systems into my business. It’s systems and strategies that stops that little voice in your head that says, “there is never enough time.” When you create systems into your business you create repeatable patterns. And, to me, having repeatable patterns is what keeps me from having that overwhelmed feeling!
The DIRECT SALES PLANNER is customized for direct sellers to get organized. It helps you create those repeatable patterns, because what get’s scheduled in your planner get’s done!
I’m sure would agree that one of the most important areas of having consistent bookings is building that BFF relationship with your hostess. When you create a “repeatable pattern” to connect with every hostess, it helps you have successful high selling parties.
In the DIRECT SALES PLANNER, you’ll find a specific section to schedule connections with your hostess “before” the party and “after” the party. Forming this habit was an extremely beneficial strategy for me in having successful parties.
“Before” the party helps you
- review the hostess packet with the hostess,
- go over her wish list so she knows what’s in it for her.
- make sure you get her guest list and ask those important hostess questions to get the “right” attendance at the party
- connect three times with a sequential strategy that builds the friendship and makes her party experience extraordinary.
“After” the party helps you
- Remember to send thank you notes to hostess and guests
- Review the important recruit leads and make Big M.A.C. calls
- Take the time to interview the hostess
- Put all party guests into your customer care follow-up system.
Even though I’m not in the field today, many of my hostesses are still great friends. The friendships you grow in this business of direct sales is a beautiful thing. I believe that’s because I followed my scheduling strategy using this very same planner.
This year, don’t be wishing you had more parties booked, or your sales were higher. Be intentional and schedule the steps for each hostess connection in your DIRECT SALES PLANNER!
