We’ve been talking a lot about a customer service system lately in my coaching programs.
Keeping a database with customer information is extremely important in building relationships and customer loyalty in your direct sales business.
It’s important to have a simple system to connect with customers and keep them apprized of specials and updates in a timely fashion. Making customer care phone calls builds a strong relationship. Connecting on social media builds strong relationships but I also recommend sending newsletters with special updates as an additional strategy with your customer service system.
You may think a monthly VIP Customer newsletter might be too much work, but with the technology available today, this is a simple process that might make the difference with your re-orders every month and even getting future bookings. You are simply sharing some key information that your customers are interested in learning about if you keep it short, eye-catching and easy to read.
Here are three easy ways to keep your customers coming back for more products sharing a fun, simple VIP NEWSLETTER.
#1 Create FUN, LEARNING Tips.
My newsletter was called “Gale’s Fashion Tips” and each newsletter they learned a tip that would help them dress well and feel good. For example, “Did you know if you push up the sleeves of your top and wear them three-quarter length, you take 5 lbs off your look? When you have LONG sleeves it adds to the width of your hips on either side, so pushing up your sleeves immediately takes off those extra pounds.”
#2 Highlight your HOTTEST product for the month.
Share the facts and benefits about a product. Talk about the solutions it offers, how it feels when you use the product and how this product will make a difference in their life. Highlighting a product reminds your customers why they love them.
#3 Write your newsletter as if you were writing it to your BEST friend!
When you write to your best friend you are being genuine and authentic. Your customers will feel like you are writing to them personally and not everyone.
Use a simple server, like Mailchimp or Constant Contact so you’re able to add the first name of each customer.
Remember give your newsletter a Catchy name.
Most importantly, write it consistently every month.
A monthly VIP Newsletter is a quick way to connect with your customers and create long-term relationships with your them. When they receive a creative tip from you about how to use your products, they will remember you. And you will become known as their friend who sells those wonderful XYZ products.
This is part of a bigger Customer Service system we work on in the L.E.A.P. Group Coaching program. Learn more about L.E.A.P. here or email me at mymentorbiz@gmail.com for a 30 minute strategy session if you’re ready to move to the next level in your direct sales business.
