They say the secret weapon of all successful business builders is their calendar. You calendar is your game plan, your goal sheet, your schedule and your mindset. When you are confident with your calendar you will book parties consistently every week. When you are confident you also appear to others as a successful direct seller who books exciting fun parties. When you appear successful and confident, people want to book with you!
It’s mid-year, and if you truly want to have a successful upcoming busy season in 2016, learn how to work the CALENDAR CONFIDENCE system. There are three simple steps. Study these three steps, implement the three steps and watch your calendar become packed with parties every month. Parties that bring you sales, bookings and recruit leads that help you grow a very strong and dynamic direct sales business.
THREE Steps to building Calendar Confidence
Step 1 – Be Clear using the Green Sticky Note System Mark your available booking dates with a GREEN sticky note (green is for money.) Be very clear “when” you want to hold parties and feel confident when you offer the available dates. Knowing “when” you want to work, you are running your business “on purpose” and you are clear about balancing your business, your life and family. It is important to keep your business simple. Keep organized using the GREEN sticky notes on your available dates every month. Sticky notes allow you to be flexible when booking. They are easy to move around your calendar. Once someone books a date, then “ink” it in as a solid booking. Train yourself to always know your next two available booking dates in your head.
Step 2 – Adopt the 4-week Rolling Calendar Strategy. Have your Calendar Planner filled with your available parties using the GREEN sticky notes. Get into the habit of filling your next available parties “FIRST!” Here’s the best way to use this. At checkout, have your calendar planner open with your green sticky notes very visible to guests. People see how you work. The goal is to fill the next four weeks of available parties “FIRST!” This is how you’ll keep your calendar full with parties rolling out every four weeks. For Example,
If today is June 29th you want to fill the next four weeks through July 29th FIRST!
Keep booking your available dates, rolling out every four weeks FIRST!
Sharing your open Calendar Planner with guests at checkout shows you are focused and you appear to your guests as a confident business woman who is organized booking consistent parties every month. People want to work with confident consultants who hold consistent parties.
Step 3 – At Checkout Offer your next TWO available dates FIRST! This is the magic in filling the green sticky notes on your calendar. When asking for bookings say, Suzie, I noticed you have more products on your wish list. I’d love to help you get them for free and have fun with your friends. My next two available dates are July 8 and 10th. Which of those might work for you?” You’re not asking a “yes” or “no” question. You’re asking for a decision! If those dates don’t work for her, she’ll let you know but because you are confident with your next open dates in four weeks, you’ll come to a mutual agreement on a date and get your calendar full.
Now you’ve learned this system, be prepared to implement at your next party, or when on the phone asking for bookings, or even talking to people out and about! One of the big keys is to know your next available dates “in your head.” So you are focused on filling those available dates every where you go.
