We are half way through the year and it’s time to analyze how to increase your party sales in the second half of the year!   The best way to do that is to track your past party statistics to determine trends and opportunities for growth in your direct sales business.

Your party statistics become your Key Performance Indicators for your business.  These KPI’s for your parties help you increase every part of your business from booking parties, serving customers, team building and more.

An essential part in tracking your past party experiences is to complete the “After Party Summary” Worksheet from my “Work Smart Worksheet” package.  This tracking will help you learn from your past experiences.   You are creating a history of your parties and with this data you will glean what is necessary to increase your sales and bookings.

Here are 5 top statistics to help you identify how to increase your sales and bookings in the next 6 months.

High attendance – In this stat, we look at how many people attended each sales statisticsparty.  I have a saying, “high attendance equals high sales.”  The importance of this stat is your hostess coaching.   When you build a BFF relationship with every hostess you’ll notice you have high attendance.  Notice how many touch points you have with your hostess and how you partner together so she gets everything on her wish list.  If your past parties had poor attendance, it’s time to focus on building better relationships with your hostesses.

 

High buying ratio – This stat is actually all about your product demonstration and how well you’re presenting the solutions that encourages people to buy your products.  When you complete the “After Party Summary” you’ll see how many people are buying at every party. If you have 75% or 95% guests buying you have a high buying ratio.  Perhaps your ratio Is 50% or below, what do you need to improve?  Is it your product demonstration, skills at check-out or your ability to connect with guests?  Once you discover this statistic your sales will skyrocket.

High party average – Party average, of course, is directly related to attendance and buy ratio and outside orders.  This all happens when you have effective hostess coaching and by that I mean partnering with your hostess to achieve HER goal.  Take a look at your last 3 months of parties, did you have high sales one or two times, and low sales the rest of the time?  Or is your party average consistent?  If you want to be more consistent or increase your party average, then focus on these 3 areas in your hostess coaching.

 

Booking from Parties – This statistic is the life-line of your business.  When you receive 2 bookings from every party, your calendar is never empty.  Completing your “After Party Summary” each time shows the 2 people who booked from your list!  It helps you remember someone who said “maybe” I’d like to book and to follow-up.   To improve your bookings from parties, practice planting booking seeds and make sure you’re presenting the benefits of booking a party with you.  And remember the rule to ask EVERYONE at check-out using the Booking Love Language from my “Companion Workbook to the Direct Sales Planner.” This is a gold mine of information to help you improve all these statistics.

Recruit Leads from Parties – This stat is worth improving if you truly want to recruit because the best recruits come from your parties.  To improve this statistic, build better relationships with all guests, and practice your skills in sharing your business opportunity with every hostess.  See recruiting section 8 in the “Companion Workbook to the Direct Sales Planner.”

Use this tracking system to understand where your strengths lie in your Direct Sales Business.  You’ll identify what you are doing well and which important KPI’s you need to focus on or need extra support.
