How many NEW hostesses would you like by the end of summer?
Hostesses are the HEART of your business. A happy hostess experiences getting some free and half price products, she enjoys having you come to her home and share great ways to use your products, but most of all she enjoys having a FUN time with her friends! It’s your relationship with your hostess that determines the success of your parties and your parties are the heart or core of growing a successful direct sales business.
So, I’ll ask you again, how many NEW Hostesses would you like by the end of summer? 10, 20, 30, say 50?
Let’s assume you want 50 NEW hostesses? How would you go about getting them? Well we know the best way to get bookings or new hostesses is to have calendar confidence. We talked about calendar confidence in Day 6 and Day 7 blog posts. Calendar confidence is knowing WHEN you want to book your parties and sharing those available dates when asking for the booking. So get out your calendar and do the first step to mark all your available upcoming party dates.
The summer months are one of the best times to ask for future bookings at every party. At the end of summer your NEW product line is being released and if you want to have a successful fall, you’ll have at least 10-20 Happy Hostesses on your calendar at the beginning of this new product release.
Today’s lesson is a sweet, simple exercise to help you focus on getting 50 new hostesses by the end of summer and through the first few months of fall.
This is a quick and simple exercise that totally works!
- Get a poster board
- Draw 50 circles or cut out 50 hearts like the picture above
- Write at the top NEW HOSTESSES
- Create a Deadlne date.
- Every new hostess gets her name on your poster board
- Create a beautiful “hostess” basket full of your products. Add some summer fun chocolates, wine, etc.
Now begin sharing your hostess basket and your board everywhere. On social media, at every networking event and most of all share this board at every party you hold this summer.
Announce in your VIP Customer Facebook group why you designed this board and basket and how they will benefit being one of the HOSTESS HEARTS on your board!
Share what’s in your “hostess” basket! Create the value ($50-$150) and design something so beautiful everyone will want to be in your drawing. (I had guests at parties who when they first arrived would ask me if they could BUY my basket!)
When the deadline date arrives, do your drawing for your special hostess basket! Announce it in your customer newsletter, and VIP Customer Facebook group! You may want to send a sample of one of the new products to every hostess on that board to get them excited about the new product line and assure each party booked will hold.
