“Help Gale, I’ve recruited 4 new team members,
how can I get them into action?”
My coaching clients have been having great success at recruiting new team members this month. It’s a great problem to have right? However, it’s important to have a system in place to help them get into action and have success in their new business in the first 30/60/90 days. And getting them into action IMMEDIATELY, will help you have massive duplication on your team.
One of the most important things to remember, is this person is very excited and ready to start her business, so don’t delay! It’s important you harness this energy and motivation right away, so being prepared with a system that gets them into action immediately will make the difference in you having a team of people who build a business than those who don’t act til later.
Some people think you have to wait until they receive their products, but it’s important you give your new recruit guidelines and actions right away while they are waiting for their products to arrive.
When I had 62 people join my team in ONE MONTH, I realized I had to have a system to help new team members get into action immediately. It’s a system you’ll find very clearly available in my CALENDAR CLUB Team booking system workbook.
Here is part one of this 3-part series in getting your new team member into action. Harness that enthusiasm and energy that she’s ready to share with the world.
Burst of Welcome. First you want to WELCOME your new team member to the team with a phone call, an email or text! I call it a BURST OF WELCOME! Let her know she’s joined a fabulous team of people who are excited to share their products and business opportunity. When she sees those welcome messages from the rest of the team, she’ll know she’s made the right decision.
Three Actions to Take Immediately. NEXT it’s important is to give her THREE ACTIONS to take IMMEDIATELY, and by that I mean in the first few hours after she’s signed up! When you give them instructions how to start their business right from the get go you are making use of her excitement and enthusiasm where she is dying to share all the products she loves with the world right away.
First ACTION – Have her begin making a list of 50 people she knows who would love her products. In fact, I encourage my new recruits to get that list up to 100 as soon as possible. This is what I call your LIVING LIST, because it’s a list she will work from for the first six months of her business. Sometimes you may need to help your new team member with a memory jogger giving her some specific areas to think about who she knows to add to her list. For those of you familiar with the F.R.A.N.K. list this is a great place to start. (Friends, Relatives, Acquaintances, Neighbor, Kid contacts.)
Second ACTION – Schedule her Launch party or in my case, I have them schedule TWO launch parties. The reason for that is I believe you want to give people two options – so if you offer them opportunity to come and see your new products on a week day night at 7pm or a weekend day at 2pm, they will choose ONE of them. You also want to give your NEW recruit a script on HOW to invite people to her launch party. This script will help her feel so confident, she won’t hesitate to invite people to her launch party.
Third ACTION – Introduce her to a Social media ACTION Plan. Share with her your Secret Team Facebook Group so she gets to know team members. Your big WELCOME in your Team Facebook group helps her learn more about the team members. Then, help her create a FB Business page and Instagram presence. These are the most important social media platforms to begin with.
