I was thrilled to see my Success Path Coaching program working when I received a tag this week from one of my FIRST coaching clients. Linda tagged me and shared a lovely testimonial for the FOUR coaches she has worked with over the past 10 years! This is a leader who has grown her business to the top of her company and when we first worked together she was new to direct sales and she wanted to know the path to growing a successful direct sales business.

We Get Clear with your Goals: My first client, Linda, was determined to grow her business holding the maximum amount of parties! But, she hired me because she wanted to know how to move up the ladder in her Comp. plan and make money without killing herself holding so many parties! It’s extremely important to get CLARITY! That’s all about knowing where you are now, and knowing exactly where you want to be! It’s this first principle that helps you make the right decisions.
The Next step is to create a strategy to get there. This is all about understanding exactly how to get from one level to the next in growing your business. Once we map out your strategy then we create a timeline. This is predicated on how much time you’re willing to work your business every week. Once you are clear with your goals and you have your strategy and have made your commitment to work your business, then it’s time to TAKE ACTION!
Then we set up your accountability program Taking action is implementing those money-making revenue activities in your business. This is why Linda was so successful. Her #1 money- making revenue activity was holding parties! She knew the more parties, she held, the higher her sales, the more opportunities she had to find people to join her on her quest to grow.
It’s important to have someone to talk to weekly and help you stay on track. This is one of the big areas in my coaching program that gets people the results they want. Setting up accountability with a coach or mentor, measures your growth. It helps you follow through with the strategy and plan. When you focus on implementing money generating activities, that’s when you multiply your income dramatically.
Without accountability, it delays your path to success. When you have someone holding you accountable that you are implementing on a regular basis, you see results much more quickly.
Now, you’ve built momentum: This is the last step of the success path! You are on your way!
- You’ve got clarity with your goal.
- You created your strategy to achieve your goal.
- You are consistent with your accountability.
And now you’ve grown MOMENTUM! The dictionary describes momentum as an impelling force of strength! It’s this force, this drive that takes you all the way to achieve your goal of “where you want to be.”
John Maxwell says, “Momentum is a leader’s best friend.” Momentum is when things happen easily, where one success follows another and that’s because you made the decision to take massive action working in those money generating activities.
Creating momentum takes hard work and effort and most of all staying accountable. Once you have momentum it can change your business.
Think about this SUCCESS PATH!

- Are you accountable to taking action?
- Are you seeing momentum in your business?
Then ask yourself this question, “Where would I like to go in my Direct Sales Business?”
