I believe having the right planner is imperative to getting bookings. That’s why I created the Direct Sales Planner. This began when I noticed my team needed a structure in keeping their calendar full of bookings.
I noticed many team members were getting discouraged when they were asking for bookings. It’s not easy when you keep hearing the word, “no.” Then, I realized it was that rejection that led them to STOP asking. And, of course, when you stop asking, you are assured of no bookings.
I realized they needed a way to simply stay consistent in “asking” for bookings.
And the way to stay consistent was to have a physical planner. I was using all types of different planners, and never could find the right one just for my direct sales business.
At first, I printed out a blank calendar and began using my method of getting bookings. This method turned into an easy 3-step structure, and when I shared it with my million dollar team it helped them stay consistent in ASKING for bookings.
Once they began getting the bookings and being consistent using my method, our team sales began to get higher and higher. We experienced higher team sales, higher team bookings and even higher team recruiting.
So, that’s how the Direct Sales Planner was born. Here’s the 3-step structure that has made this Direct Sales Planner so popular for Direct Sellers.
STEP 1 – It’s important you have a planner with monthly SQUARES to write in the name of your hostess. In the Direct Sales Planner we have a TWO-PAGE spread of the whole visual of each month.
- we begin by opening up the two-page spread to the BOOKING PAGES and get very clear ‘WHEN’ we want to hold our parties.
- We determine if we want to hold parties Tues, Thurs, or Saturday and then mark these AVAILABLE dates with a green post-it note. Post it notes allow you to be flexible and are easy to move around on your calendar if someone wants to change their date.
- Once you’re clear WHEN you want to work and hold parties, then we follow a Booking activities list that’s available for people who use this planner.
- Once someone books a date, then we “ink” it in as a confirmed booking and begin the hostess coaching process.
STEP 2 – The key to having consistent bookings is always offer your next two available dates FIRST!
- The next two available dates are those next two green post-it notes that are staring up at you from your two-page calendar spread.
- It’s important to open this TWO-PAGE spread at check-out at your parties. This shows guests how you work and they are impressed with your structure.
- People want to book with confident consultants who hold successful parties.
- Now, it’s time to train yourself to offer your next two available dates FIRST!
STEP 3 – is when you ASK for the booking CONSISTENTLY using a special language.
- We call this the BOOKING LOVE LANGUAGE.
- This booking LOVE language is how you use your DIRECT SALES PLANNER to keep bookings consistently on your calendar.
This is the ANSWER to those team members who say, “I can’t get any bookings,” or “Nobody wants to book a party with me!”
