What type of duplication model do you share with your new recruits?   If a new recruit is serious building her new business on the FAST track, then having a model or strategic path to duplicate helps them have success in the first 30 days.

This week a new coaching client shared with me that she is a great recruiter.  In fact, last year, she recruited 1 person a week for the whole year!  That’s a lot of new recruits, however, not many of them are building a business.

One thing I know when you first start a Direct Sales business, you are in a kind of overwhelm.  Your sponsor says, let’s get your launch party booked, and then we’ll help you book more parties.  Oh, and I want you to go to our University library and watch all the videos for New team members.   Oh and don’t forget to join ALL these Facebook groups (you’ll love them.) After that come back and let me know if you have any questions.”

These are all good instructions, but it’s a lot of information all at once.  There is so much to learn and if a new recruit doesn’t get the right support in those first THREE days of starting a business, all that overwhelm just intensifies. (Yes, her first THREE days.)  And when that overwhelm intensifies, she is thinking to herself, “maybe I’ve made a mistake.”

Those first THREE days are crucial!  And sometimes the opposite happens in those first three days.  There are crickets!  Some sponsors think, I’ll let her catch her breath first, then we’ll get her started.  So, she’s left alone for THREE whole days before someone contacts her to get started.   In those first THREE days, she will definitely be second guessing herself that she made the right decision.

YES, THERE IS A LOT TO DO TO GET UP AND RUNNING in a Direct Sales Business!
