What is a booking blitz? It’s finding a block of time to focus on filling your calendar with bookings. And it’s one of the best ways to help you and you team have consistent bookings on your calendar.
Why do you need a Team Booking Blitz?
In our Direct Sales business the party is the engine of your business. The more parties you hold, the more your business runs like a well-oiled machine. It purrs along when you are continually booking parties out every 4 to 8 weeks.
To keep the parties flowing consistently, I suggest you hold a TEAM Booking blitz on the third week of every month. The third week is the week you’re looking ahead to the next 4 weeks. When you have consistent bookings ahead every 4 weeks, you know you have future income and more business.
There are two ways to keep your calendar full of bookings.
- The first is to book two parties from every party,
- the second is to schedule time to follow-up with past customers and hostesses with a booking offer. This offer includes sharing host rewards that are usually free and half price items, so it’s beneficial for people to book with you.
A Team Booking Blitz is one of the four main events leaders hold every month. If you’re not a leader, then create your own personal booking blitz.
The following 4 step system is what I recommend for all my coaching clients. This training and support is all part of my JOURNEY TO LEADERSHIP group coaching program.
Here is the four-step process to holding a Team Booking Blitz.
Step 1 – Prepare the Team. Schedule a zoom call and ask team members to come with a list of people to connect. On that list should be past hostess, people who bought at parties but didn’t book, best customers, and people on a maybe list.
Step 2 – on the zoom call. Now they have their list, and they are committed to getting bookings teach how to create a script. Help them feel comfortable in knowing what to say when they connect. When they are confident in knowing what to say, they will love to work on getting bookings.
Review the script and share how to build the conversation with customers, even if she doesn’t want to book. Perhaps, she’ll to place an order or have questions about joining.
It’s your job on this zoom to help your team to feel excited and positive about making these connections.
Step 3 – give them a timeline for the booking blitz. Some of my coaching clients do a one-hour booking blitz right after the zoom session, so team members have things fresh in their minds. Some give their team 24 or 48 hours to spread their time make their connections.
During the Booking Blitz, you, as the leader, should keep your pulse on who’s participating. Reach out to each participant with encouragement. Offer prizes. Prizes for people who connect, but don’t get a booking, people who get bookings & people get the most bookings. The team will love the recognition and the rewards.
Step 4 – Schedule follow-up zoom call. (This is probably the most valuable part of a Booking Blitz.) Ask the team members to come back on zoom and share their experience from making their connections. The value in this is when others hear how they got a booking, or they handled a no, or maybe a sale, their experience is helpful to everyone. If having another zoom session is too much, create an instant message group or what’s app and ask team members to share their experience.
